WHEN I BURST THE BLOOD BEARING BALOON BY LASTING LOVE BOND

So I dream of that bloody day of
glee, as on my stable feet I stand
eyes opened wide like happy sun smiles
as if it was now and here; Great day!
when I’ll burst the blood bearing balloon by lasting love bond

Tell the obsolete long laughing sun; she is over efficient!
tell her to go! her wet bed to find, and rest alone
like once I dwelt when lifeless perfumed foam
was my Juliet, tell her! I want the blue moon at crest!
as I burst the blood bearing balloon by lasting love bond

Tell baba, now I want to be loyal; omo ekun, omo eya
I want to un-sheet the calm strong sword He gave me
tell mama to dance kuluso till my fruits she sees
tell her to sing my brave oriki, rather than birth noise of haa!!
as I burst the blood bearing balloon by lasting love bond

Oh! tell sparrow mouthed caps and netlike head ties;
 that wonder comes after nine nights of needle and cloth;
as double daring stalwarts than Beowulf shall stand, bounce and jump!
telling them; my kembe that seem rope-bound is now untied!
as I burst the blood bearing balloon by lasting love bond

Oh! let me trade with her my worthy walls of wise wealth!
my careful shirt and tight tenacious trousers;
and buy the key to this tender home of glory
a prize million ways worth than rubies and all Solomon begot
as I burst the blood bearing balloon by lasting love bond

Ask the loose zips and belts! ask them!
what's soup when eaten hot and undone?
what's home; having no cotton to the inner court?
tell them! Only few of a few and I, shall know this paradise when there,
to burst with honour; the blood bearing balloon by lasting love bond

Oh! daunting dance of duress and doom!
as neurons play back those beats of woe
when glowing glory's snatched with no kowtow
oh! I stand a minute for those punctured red fresh wells
when fiendly thieves burst the blood bearing balloon by fading lust bond

Oreke! want you not, that mama gets an over filled match box?
than papa giving her knocks of words, Omo osan! for your frivolity?
want you not that your Aremu gives a knock of reverence staining the white thing?
entering into a most spacious citadel of everlasting honour
as he burst the blood bearing balloon by lasting love bond

So I cry!!! fresh budding leaves from wood of sensuality!!
throw not your Ogunakansoso to careless ocean of lust loss!
enclave the frivolous balls and get glasses of cautions for careless eyes to curb
hear!! you ladies whose buttons hates to kiss and skirts; hates the knees,
It's so glorious; bursting the blood bearing balloon by lasting love bond!

WHEN DREAM SMILES

When dream smiles,
The thousand acred journey is in a mile
Hope and strength resuscitated once again
Mind is open as of eagle to see the future
Rocks designed for man's fall metamorphosed
Even to a stepping stone to greatest altitude
Tears of blood from a wounded heart turns to spring of joy
The trivial bicycle runs faster than aeroplane
The inclement cloud releases the breeze of comfort
The topsy-turvy mind sees the narrow path
Old rules unargueably pave way to new ones.

When dream smiles,
The flag of trust flutters uninterruptedly
And power acknowledged the veracity of power
Absence of war with the nature is the conventional wisdom
Beggars of the highway become a lender to the low man
There's always an appetite to win the coin of opportunity.

When dream smiles,
Equality is pronounced and unity in diversity
Representatives of minds minister with fear of the morrow
Brains will be appreciated as fertilizers to the nation
Head will not be the source of pain to other parts
The eclipsed joy of liberty tintinabulate once again
There will always be a way to resolve the hiccups
Positions and privileges will not alchemize to cat-o-nine-tails
Commoners' point of view will be previewed and approved
There will be no need of panting for waters in oceans
Effort will be rewarded in its due season.

When dream smiles,
Erosion of blood for popular recognition will be a thing of the past
There will be no need of saviour in other continent
Exploiters' conscience act as judge to curb their excesses
Neighbour's nakedness will be a concern of all to cover
Faction will not glory in ruination of reign.

When dream smiles,
The fragile heart will not be fool again
Unassailable truth of wedlock will not be murdered
The blissfulness of valentine will be extended to other days
The golden rule will be applicable to the uprooted rose
And there will be no smiling in the drowning tears of others.

Let dream smile,
Not like those that cause crystal cry
But those in which replenishment lie
So that skeleton can wear the cloth of flesh
And be freed from grave that ministers in stench
Then the downgraded race can run faster than yacht.

How To Let Go

HOW TO LET GO
This is how to let go of a love:
You take a walk on the beach at dawn
And envision the path you two had once walked.
You lift his name from your heart and place it on the waking sand.
You recap your meeting
Your eyes, buried in despair
Searches the stretching tides for reason,
Then you drop a tear, another tear
Another tear and another tear
Gift bags, from the anguish memory desires to offer.
Then you step aside,
As the waves,
Fervor messengers of the Sea goddess
Alleviates you, the bottomless PAIN of heartbreak.
